Crimped Wire Cup Brush

Brush Firm crimped wire cup brushes uses crimped wire and designed for cleaning and polishing carvings, castings, flat or curved surfaces. Heavy-duty brush structure and maximum density of wire (high-carbon steel, brass, bronze, or stainless steel) help in reducing flattening and spreading during use. They usually have bristles of various lengths for different tasks: short bristles for polishing and longer ones for heavy duty cleaning. other dimensions are also available on special order. Mini grinder Cup Brushes: Designed for high speed angle grinder rotation. Both crimped and twisted knot styles are available. 12,500 rpm is the maximum safe free speed recommended.

Standard Duty Cup Brushes: Large format allows coverage of large surface areas. The standard threaded Arbor hole is 5/8″-11. Other fill materials and Arbor hole sizes are available on special order. Maximum safe free speed recommendations range from 6,000 to 9,000 rpm. Diameters include 3”, 4″, 5″ and 6″.
